This two part upcoming events hosted by Keira Keogh TD, with her Fine Gael colleagues in the Leeson Enterprise Centre, Altamont Street, Westport, Co. Mayo, F28 ET85 next Thursday, 25th September 2025.

📌 Public Procurement with Minister Emer Higgins (3:30pm) Kiera Keogh TD host a Public Procurement event in collaboration with Minister for Public Procurement, Digitalisation and eGovernment, Emer Higgins. This event will give local SMEs, microenterprises, and suppliers the chance to engage directly with Minister Higgins, hear about the latest developments in public procurement, and share feedback and experiences – whether you have already engaged with public procurement or have found barriers to accessing it. The event is equally open to businesses who are interested in public procurement but have not yet taken the first step.

📌 Roundtable with Minister Peter Burke (6:30pm)This roundtable is a chance to hear directly from Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Peter Burke, about the support available to help small businesses not just survive, but grow. From cutting back on red tape and making grant applications easier, to giving our Local Enterprise Offices the resources they need, his focus has been on making life simpler for SMEs. He has recently set up a new Small Business Unit and National Enterprise Hub so that owners can get straight answers and practical help instead of being bounced around the system. Whether you’re looking at energy savings, accessing new markets, or just trying to keep staff and costs balanced, this is a space to share your concerns and hear what’s on the way to support you.

🍴 In between both sessions, from 5:00pm, we’ll enjoy canapés prepared by The Helm.

Both events will be informal and interactive, offering a genuine opportunity to share your views, ask questions, and contribute ideas.
